Strangelove Magazine, a new contender in Sydney’s bubbling stress press scene, launches tonight at the OAF.

Focusing on arts, culture, film and music (ya know, all that boring shit we all hate so much) and distributed for free nationwide, Strangelove is the (strange)love child of Toby Creswell, an ex-editor at youth culture powerhouses Juice and Rolling Stone.

The launch costs ten bajingos and features one big spoil of a lineup for a Tuesday night:

Ghoul (Sydney), Dave Graney (exclusivebook reading + Q&A) , Oscar + Martin (Melbourne), Evil J + SaintCecilia, Main Room featuring films by Ingmar Bergman (Seventh Seal,Wild Strawberries) and live performances in the infamous OAF Cube fromHeath Franco and Sands Through The Hourglass. Next door, OAF is stagingthe Rock & Blues Gallery Bar hearing everything from Muddy Watersto BB King, featuring a surprise blues supergroup, Jack Shit + RobbieBuck in a rare 78s vinyl DJ set, Jingle Jangle DJs + more.

Doors at 8:00pm.
