"bingo!"

Tuesday is a bit of a nothing day. Especially in winter (and this apocalyptic rain that’s been going on doesn’t help) when after work all you feel like doing is dashing home to shelter amongst mountains of woollens and central heating.

So time to make something out of nothing and bring back a bit of warm reverie to Tuesday night on the town.

What better way than trying your hand at a bit of rockin’ BINGO. Take that leap out into the rain and head over to Darlinghurst where the now familiar Darlie Laundromatic is serving up rock and roll bingo every Tuesday night.

The old legs eleven and two fat ladies have been ditched for Axle Rose, Morrison, Mitchell and Elvis. And the little old bingo ladies ousted for beehive hairdos and fashionistas of the Happy Days era.

The great thing about bingo? You don’t even need skills for this game. Perfect for that midweek night out when the haze of Monday’s still hanging over and the weekend’s just that little bit far away.

Let’s hope your card’s a little luckier than mine was though to wrangle yourself a fabulous laundrette prize.

JD specials all night, $5 Tsing Tao cans, mouthwatering gourmet toasties, exotic spins on hot dogs and a sweet swingin’ rock and roll soundtrack.
