This Sunday is shaping up to be fan-bloody-tastic for fans of the street festival. The suburbs of Strathfield and Marrickville will burst at the seams with food stalls, live music, art, theatre and that delicious thing we call multiculturalism, which we have to thank for all the incredible eats that are housed in these ‘burbs.

Marrickville is a great starting spot. The Marrickville Festival draws around 50,000 people each year and is the best showcase of this suburb’s cultural diversity, while the Strathfield Food Festival, run as part of the Crave Sydney Food Festival, is an Asian fusion amusement park of food. Live cooking demonstrations by Seoul of Sydney Korean chefs, local restaurants cooking up a storm and beer and wine tastings will be rampant.
