Cake Wines (yummy alcohol with a community conscience), Metro Screen and FBI radio are teaming up for a special night out with controversial documentary Press.Pause.Play, a film dissecting the fears and opportunities arising from the digital shakeup of global creative industries. The film features Lykke Li, Robyn, Seth Godin, Moby and many other luminaries sharing their opinions on the future of art and commerce.
Cool, sounds fun.
But did we also mention they’re screening it in the FBI underground carpark, and that all proceeds go back to the station?
Also, the carpark is haunted*.
This is part of a series of film events from Metro Screen, a group taking the act of watching things on a screen with other people to weird and wonderful Sydney locations. Tickets will sell-out, so be snappy.
WHAT: Press.Pause.Play @ the FBI Carpark.
WHERE: The FBI Carpark
WHEN: 6-9Thursday, April 19th
HOW MUCH: $15 from here
*By haunted, we mean ‘scary to walk through on your way to the toi-toi while doing a late-night FBI shift’.
Here’s the trailer. Looks mega, right?
